Eiza Gonzalez Biography

Eiza Gonzalez Reyna (born 30 January 1990) is a Mexican actor and singer. Her first role in the Mexican musical television show Lola erase unavez (2007-2008) was the most recognizable. Later, she performed the role of Clara Molina in the Nickelodeon Teen Drama Suena conmigo (2010)-2011. Gonzalez was born in Mexico City, Mexico, the sole child of the former Mexican model Glenda Reyna and Carlos Gonzalez. Her father passed away in a motorbike accident at the age of 12; she has cited her father's death as an important influence on her career. She has one brother, Yulen she is 12 years her senior. She was a student at two private bilingual schools, Edron Academy and the American School Foundation, both located in Mexico City. [5][6] She completed two years of a 3-year course in Televisa's acting academy, Centro de Educacion Artistica and was then cast as the protagonist in the 2007 teen-oriented telenovela Lola...Erase una vez at 16. In late August 2013, Gonzalez was living in Los Angeles. [19][20] She revealed in September 2015 that she was suffering from depression and compulsive eating disorder since the age of 15.
