Anne W. Burrell is a American TV chef and ex-teacher at the Institute of Culinary Education. She hosts the Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Chef, and is also co-hosting Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, with her signature spiky blonde locks and an energised persona on Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Cook series, shares straightforward and simple techniques for home cooks. Chef Burrell has worked at New York at top restaurants and studied the Italian culinary traditions and landscape. Additionally, she competed as Iron Chef America on Food Network. While living in the the upstate area of New York, Burrell became passionate about food and cooking. The Culinary Institute of America was where she studied to earn an English degree as well as a communications diploma from Canisius College Buffalo NY.
